My Tea Experience
The Yellow Rose Tea Story
As a young girls our mother took great pleasure in sharing her love of tea with my sister and I. It started with her throwing us a playful tea party in the living room and by the time we were in high school we were able to host a British-style high tea for her in return. Our mother also loved yellow roses and she said it was because she became a mother in Texas.
We often celebrated birthdays and Mothers Day with high tea served in her vintage Royal Albert tea set. Our mother enjoyed sharing her passion for all things tea with others, and like mother like daughters, we in turn enjoy sharing our passion for tea with others as well. It was always our dream to establish a tea house however when our mother passed that dream faded a bit.
Sarah is a full time firefighter paramedic for a local fire department with over 19 years experience. She is married with an adult daughter. Sarah has a passon for tea that has lead her to try hundreds of blends and collect vintage tea sets from around the world. Sarahs favorite tea is strong black tea and she has a cup of Englsh Breakfast every morning.
Rebecca is a full time calssically trained pastery chef with almost 2 decades in that field. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu Academy with time spend working for companies like Disney, Publix, and 4Rivers. She is married with a young son whom she adores. Her love of baking has seen her create custom desserts including wedding cakes, Victora Sponge cakes and a varity of other unique items. Rebeccas favorite tea is also strong black tea with a preference to Black Currant tea.
In 2022 we were able to establish Yellow Rose Tea, an elegant, in-home tea service. We conveniently come to you. and serve up to sixteen (16) guests an indulgent, delightful tea menu which includes a of soup and salad, bite sized tea sandwiches, tarts, tea breads and freshly baked scones which are also served with Chantille cream and lemon curd as well as a classic fruit spread, seasonal fruits, assorted sweets, fluted beverages and the finest blends of teas. Menus can be personalized and dietary considerations can be accommodated.
Laughter and conversation flow easily around the table when people are enjoying a well-planned tea party. Yellow Rose Tea specializes in creating an elegant but comfortable tea experience in your home. We will create a beautifully set table by providing table linens, full tea service, flatware, silverware and drinkware or tea may be served on heirloom china and we can supplement place settings. We also provide a full service set-up and breakdown.
